Refund policy

At The Bohemian State, each dress is handmade with love and care in Barcelona, using high-quality fabrics in limited stock, creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Because every piece is exclusive and handmade, please note that natural variations in fabric, weave, finishing, and slight differences in sizing between styles or sizes are part of the uniqueness of each item. These are not considered defects.


We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • The item does not match the description on our website.


We cannot accept returns if:

  • The garment has been worn, washed, or altered after delivery.

  • The item is missing its original tags.

  • The item has stains, odors, or other damage caused by the customer, even if it happens shortly after purchase.

  • The garment shows minor imperfections or natural variations due to handmade production (these are part of the uniqueness of each piece).


To request a return:

  1. Contact us within 5 days of receiving your order, including photos and a short description of the issue.

  2. Once approved, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is defective.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and applied automatically to your original payment method within 10–15 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective.


Please note:

  • Fit issues or change of mind are not accepted due to the limited and handmade nature of our pieces.

  • We recommend carefully reviewing size guides and product details before purchasing to ensure the best fit.

  • Treat your dress as the unique, special piece it is — proper care ensures it lasts beautifully.
